Cabinet painting, done properly
Spraying kitchen cabinets is a specific process: doors and drawer fronts come off and get labelled, everything is degreased (kitchen cabinets carry years of cooking film that paint won't stick to), sanded and scuff-primed, then sprayed with a cabinet-grade finish rather than wall paint. Done right, it's durable. Done with a brush and latex, it's peeling in a year.
Full remodels
New cabinetry, counters in quartz, granite or butcher block, tile backsplash, undercabinet lighting, new flooring and appliance fit-out. Layout changes that move plumbing or add circuits are done with Texas state-licensed plumbing and electrical subcontractors, permitted where required.
What changes your price
Cabinets are usually half the budget, so the cabinet decision drives everything. After that: counter material, whether the layout moves, how much electrical is added (island outlets and undercabinet runs add up), and whether the floor is being replaced at the same time — which is almost always cheaper to do together than separately.
